Who We Are
Our Clinic is lead by Dr. Maher A. Huttam.
Dr. Huttam graduated from medical school in 1989. After graduating prior to his surgical residency training he joined John's Hopkins affiliated surgical group as an assistant for 4 years . He then completed his surgical training at Chicago Medical School Affiliated Hospitals including the prestigious Evanston Northwestern Medical Center.

To further his training using cutting edge surgical technology he pursued a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery at the University of Illinois Medical center at Chicago, which is one of the premier medical centers to assist in the FDA approval of Da Vinci Robotics and Lap band procedures. After completing his fellowship he has served as the director of Minimally Invasive General and Bariatric surgery at Bon Secours Health System. He enjoys teaching and has been involved in research. He is board certified in general surgery and is a member of The American College of Surgeons (c), American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (c) and Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. His field of interest is in a wide array of Minimally Invasive General surgery, Robotics Bariatric surgery and Phlebology.
